Serenity was a collaboration with the designer of Altar’d State, providing insight into how design shapes retail experiences. Located in West Town Mall, Knoxville, TN, the 10,000 sq ft windowless rectangular space reimagines the mall of 2030 for busy, middle-aged women seeking respite from daily chaos. The design offers a luxurious, appointment-based shopping experience, with skylights, water features, and trees enhancing a sense of calm. Visitors check in with a drink at the café, select merchandise, and try items in pod-style dressing rooms. Serenity transforms shopping from a stressful task into an immersive, peaceful experience.
